Store Maturity
Every Nostroma store has a maturity rating, which is an integer in the range 0 to 9.
A store's maturity reflects how established it is. A newly created store has a low maturity, while a store that has been actively developed and has built up products, customers, and sales, will gradually become more mature.
The maturity rating helps Nostroma make sensible decisions on your behalf. For example:
- We make it very easy to delete a brand new store that you created by mistake.
- As your store becomes more established, deleting it becomes progressively harder to help prevent accidental loss of valuable work and customer data.
- Notification behaviour also depends on maturity. During the early stages of setting up a store, small problems are common and constant notifications would mostly be a distraction. Once your store is established, Nostroma assumes it is an operating business and will notify you more diligently if something appears to be wrong.
The exact calculation of the maturity rating is intentionally not specified and may change over time as Nostroma develops. The important thing is that higher maturity means your store has become more established.
