A: This has happened to a few customers. They try repeatedly to pay using FastSpring, but FastSpring consistently rejects their payment, providing an unhelpful error messages. Whenever I have investigated this, it has turned out that FastSpring has blacklisted the customer for some reason. It might be because of credit check, or a fraud AI detection system going off, or who knows what. Unfortunately, there is no easy way of fixing this. You have to phone FastSpring and ask them what's going on. Usually, they will say that there is a problem with your credit card that they can't fix and that you have to go talk to your bank. It's probably worth actually phoning your bank and sorting this out because if this problem is happening to you, it's probably going to happen again on other ecommerce websites, so you might as well fix it now. But if, for whatever reason, you can't fix it, create a support conversation and maybe I can find another way for you to pay. I would far far prefer that you just get your credit card working though so that you just use the normal FastSpring payment method.
